Water based paints can be purchased in Gallon, Quart and 5 gallon containers.

Also, if you have other colors you are interested in let us know. We can provide custom mixed colors.

Water Based Paints

We have developed technologies in the waterborne paint industry. These products are specifically formulated for the Liquid Print process, and since they are solvent-free, they have several benefits:

Faster curing times. You can touch a dipped part right away, the print wont rub off.

If you missed an area and want to redecorate a part, as soon as the part is dry, you can re-base the part, and dip again. With solvent-based paints you have a real danger of the solvents in the activator making the paint too soft and the print sliding off. No such problem with water based paints.

Longer dipping window. Parts painted with solvent-based paint need to be dipped within a few hours, or you risk a low quality print. Where as parts painted with waterborne paints can be painted and then sit on the shelf for a year and still print with high quality.

Waterborne paints are more friendly to the environment, since there are no solvents in them.

Cost, which is significantly less than traditional solvent based paints. Also, the cost to ship is much less as there are no hazmat charges.
